BUSHKILL OR BUST

As most of you know we are moving. Crazy. We were called in August about a camp in PA that serves the inner city kids from NYC. After lots of praying, thinking and hard conversations we decided that it was time to head into the woods. Rich was offered the directors position and I was offered a consultant job to write curriculum and manuals for the camp. We resigned the last day in August, sold our house this week and will move to camp the middle of November (Mont Lawn Camp). For the next 6 weeks we will be all over - Williamsburg packing, Charlotte for a week, NY for severl. We are so excited for this incredible oppportunity and all it has in store for us.

Summer Fun

We had a great summer. I don't know what ever happened to the lazy days of summer - our summer was SO FUN full of family and friends but it felt far from relaxed as we made over 7 trips this summer. Highlights included streb family fun, cornwall with the sylvester clan, Nicaragua, DC, VA beach with good friends and Hannah's wedding. Good times were had by all and we were so thankf ul to share life with so many.

We had a great time at my parents house during the family reunion.... Hudson got to hang out with his cousin Eli, ride the huge slip and slide that his uncles made and spend time with his gannie..... Not to mention hunt down Melrose the cat

Nicaragua 2007

Rich took 80 kids to Nicaragua this year - Hudson and I joined them for 6 days. Hudson had a wonderful time playing with the orphans, I loved spending time with my small group girls and it was great to have rich's uncle john join us as the team doctor. We have to mention the fact the Hudson loved the buses - loved pretending to drive them and beep their horns!

Cousins, friends, and fun

Colorado

For spring break we headed to Colorado to visit the Craig and Sally. We could not have a had a better time in steamboat with them - they were wonderful hosts. Hudson found a new BFF - Pace the wonder dog. At the tail end of our trip we got to meet up with rich's family in Denver. We plan to make this a yearly trip!

Happy Easter

We felt so priviledged to spend Easter with so many friends here. We vickled eggs, Addy and Hudson had their first Easter egg hunt... and just had a wonderful time.

Goodlings/Sylvester visit

The High School Ski Trip headed to PA for some fun in the snow. Hudson enjoyed the his first snow storm and Suzy enjoyed skiing with her girls.
